Éigse Carlow Arts Festival, now Ireland’s 4th largest arts festival, will come bursting onto Carlow’s streets in June. For ten days each year, Carlow becomes a hive of cultural activity with an exciting programme of events including theatre, dance, music, comedy and street entertainment - and thanks to our many wonderful sponsors, supporters, festival friends and partners, almost all events are free of charge.

Now in its 27th year, Éigse is firmly established as one of Ireland’s leading arts festival. Éigse continues to profile Carlow as a cultural destination both national and internationally and presents a thriving dynamic programme for all of Carlow to engage with. Éigse is a wonderful mixture of creativity that has been generated from Carlow’s rich cultural and artistic environment and introduces new work to Carlow that will inspire, challenge and entertain .
